Jesus above all

At the core of C3 Fort Worth, there is one person who is elevated above everything: Jesus. He died and rose again so that we could have eternal life and be in relationship with Him. We are a tribe of believers and seekers with the common bond of pursuing life with Him and for Him. Our goal is not just to get people to church, our goal is for people to meet Jesus.

We believe that because of His love for us, God sent Jesus to do for us what we could never do for ourselves, and that is to erase the debt for our sin by dying on the Cross in our place. Without the Cross and His resurrection, we are spiritually dead and separated from God. Jesus did not come to make bad people better, He came to bring dead people to life. He gave His life that we might live.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
— John 10:10

Jesus doesn't point us to a teaching or an idea, he points us to himself. He tells us that He is the "resurrection and the life" and Paul tells us that "there is no other name by which men will be saved" (Acts 4). If we'll give our lives, not to a religious code, but to a life giving relationship with Christ, our life will change forever! He loves you. He is for you. He is waiting for you. Give your all to Him today!

We believe that God is vibrant, joyful and powerful and that He longs to be involved in every area of our lives. His presence should always give rise to a sense of excitement and a fullness of spirit. Jesus said that He came to Earth that we might have a life of abundance (John 10:10).

We exist so that people would be fully alive, united, and made in Christ. And C3 is full of people who have discovered an incredible richness of life that comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Every time we come together to worship God as the body of Christ, we are celebrating what Jesus has done for us. Our message is one of faith, hope and love.

Ask Jesus

After reading the above we must ask “What must I do to be saved?” This question was asked of Paul from his jailer. The answer was simple, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:30)

So how do you do that? Jesus answers that question in John 14:6, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” So we must believe that “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

You can pray a simple prayer like the one below in your own words...

"Lord God, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for my sins and rose to life again. I am sorry for my sins; and ask for your forgiveness. I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior. I ask you to transform my life and give me your Holy Spirit to lead me all of my days. Thank you for your unlimited goodness and grace over my life. In the name of Jesus. Amen."
